With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ann Cole (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Elizabeth Ann may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Schopf and Angela Hellmann Schopf; her daughter Kathleen A. Cole; and her sister Angie Kelly. She is survived by: her son Dan S. Cole (Morgan); her grandchildren, Aiden, William and Jackson; and her great grandchild Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 S 5th St, Louisville, KY 40202).
Memorial gifts in her honor may be made to Mass of the Air, reflecting EAs enduring Catholic faith and lifelong devotion to serving others.
