We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ella Whitehead of Louisville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Starlin Bryant and Eva Bryant (McCartt); and her siblings, Gracie Swain, Kenneth Bryant and Ova Powell.
She is survived by: her significant other Howard Whitehead; her daughters, Janet Roberts (Dennis) and Diane Baker (Tom); and her granddaughters, Stephanie Feathers, Natalie Feathers (Megan) and Starr Roberts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
The family requests that contributions in Ella's memory be made to Auburndale Baptist Church or Crusade for Children.
