She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Burdine and Lena Burdine; and her siblings, Larry Burdine, David Burdine and Margaret Roberson.
She is survived by: her son William "Robbie" Bennett (Dewana); and her grandchildren, John Young, James Young and Kim House. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Louisville Humane society.
