He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willa Koernner and Alford Kapp; his significant other Kay; his children, Brian Kapp (Jacqui) and Angie Sullivan (Mike Ewals); and his grandchildren, Aaron Kapp (Amanda), Jacob Kapp (Makayla), Abbey Sullivan and Joey Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosse Funeral Home (1355 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
