She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie A. Horton and Edna Horton (Bowles); her former husband Herbert Hampton; her husband Earl Mason; and her siblings, Samuel "Sammy" Richard Horton, Charles Edwin Horton and Betty Wallace.
She is survived by: her nephews, Charles "Chucky" Horton (Carolyn Wilson), Tommy Denham (Vicki Horton-Wimpee), Richie Horton and Todd Horton (Renee Horton). She is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Shively, KY 40216).
