He was predeceased by: his parents, Halcy O'Bannon and Lonnie Harbin; and his siblings, Harvey Lee Griffith, Gary Harbin, Dwayne Harbin, Linda Gail O'Bannon, Edwin "Butch" O'Bannon, Halcy Marie O'Bannon, Rochelle O'Bannon, David Wayne White and Carolyn Riley.

He is survived by: his children, Alicia Gayle Spencer, Chimere Monet Jackson and Gregory Thomas Jackson (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jamal Le'Shawn Spencer, Jaden Keyon Spencer and Gracelynn Yvette Jackson; his sisters, Emma Jean Goodner, Patricia Abernathy and Sharon Pitts; his son Devin Fernandes High; and his close friend Beth Rohmann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
