He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde M. Davis and Lorena Tallent Davis; and his sister Charlene Snoddy. He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Marie Davis; his son Edward W. Davis; his stepchildren, Fran Dick and Garyl Croddy; his siblings, Bobbie Alley, Austin Davis and Milburn Davis; his wife Barbara Ketterman Davis; his children, Terry Davis (Ann) and Sharon Davis (Glenn); his grandchildren, Brian Davis (Annie), Chris Davis, Natalie Willis (Chad), Lilly McGlone (Billy), Jason Davis (Lori) and Sarah Davis (George); his daughter Jan Croddy; his son-in-law Terry Dick; his grandchild Terrianne Tremayne (John); and his sister Joan Davis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beargrass Christian Church (4100 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at the Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
