He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Soward and Mildred Soward Sr.; and his great grandchild Mary Jane Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Soward; his children, Adam Soward (Candace), Nicky Soward, Bud Soward (Becca), Sonya Johnson (Mark) and Jason Dennison (Cindy); his grandchildren, Aiden, Jordan, Dayton, Eli, Allison (James), Tiffany (Troy), J. T. (Courtney), Kobe and Conner; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Millie, Jordan, Ethan, Elijah, Vaida, Braxton and Aria.

Memorial donations in Eddie's memory can be made to American Lung Association.
