With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Greaver Baker of Louisville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James Greaver left this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee Baker and Evelyn Greaver Baker; his wife Patricia McCoy Baker; and his brother Bill Dudley Baker. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Baustien (Bill), Linda Taylor (Paul) and Laura Lawless (Michael); his grandchildren, Beau Baustien (Laura), Rease Baustien (Jillian), Sarah Katherine Lawless and Michael James Lawless; and his great grandchildren, Lennie, Lila, Marliegh and Baker Baustien. He is also survived by his nephew, many nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Second Presbyterian Church (3701 Old Brownsboro Hills Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
