He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Luther and Dessie Alsip Monhollen; and his siblings, Homer, Harold Monhollen, Doris Monhollen and Wanda Frizzell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Milburn; his daughters, Lynn Akins (Barry) and Robin Brown (Landon); his grandchildren, Alison Ramey (Justin), Kylee Abernethy (Spencer), Brandon Akins (Courtney) and Zachary Marcy; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Alexa, Ashlynn, Jessica, Jacey, Josh Ramey, Silas and Esmay Akins; and his sister-in-law Mavis Milburn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
