We announce the death of Jean F Castle of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 92. Jean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jean will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jean will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jean’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Castle; her sons, Ronald Castle Sr., Paul Castle and Mike Castle; and her grandson Donald Castle Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Donald Castle Sr. (Evelyn) and Mary Alexander (Joe); and her grandson Robert Castle. She is also survived by grandchildren, 26 cherished great-grandchildren, 10 amazing great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home (8519 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
