He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Steve Porter (Becky), Sharon Frazier and Angela Bush (Mark); and his siblings, Bobby Thomas (Carol), Dottie Wells (Darrell) and Phyllis Thomas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
