He was predeceased by: his wife Maude A. (White); and his son James Nelson Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Jesse N. Alexander III, Virginia Alexander and Rhonda Glenn-Alexander; and his grandchildren, James Nelson Alexander, Jr. and Jessica Nia Alexander.
