He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Mable Parker; his daughter Penny L. Parker; and his sister Mabelene. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Parker; his children, John Edward Parker (Tammie), Joseph Luther Parker (Linda), Kitana Lynn Washam (Steve) and Robert Michael Parker; and his siblings, Elizabeth Crider, Claude William Parker and Michael Anthony Parker.
