He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Kimmich (Kramer) and Richard Kimmich; his wife Patricia Kimmich (Slack); his sisters, Annie Shinkle, Betty Groger and Judy Harper; and his son-in-law Adam Oberfrank.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Oberfrank, Denise Powell (George) and Leslie Crigler (Kevin); his siblings, Harvey Kimmich and Dottie Aylor (Bobby); his grandchildren, Nicole (Jake), Justin, Jordan and Stella; and his great grandchildren, Reed, Seeley and Zeek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40258). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40258).
