He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Catlett and Cynthia Catlett; his former wife Priscilla Catlett; his siblings, Raymond, Jim, Arvil, Harding, Lloyd, David, Gladys, Catherine, Evelyn, Lorena and Betty; his son-in-law Wayne Moore; and his stepson Ray Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Catlett; his children, Michael Catlett (Susan), Jennifer Moore and Elizabeth Toler (Scott); his stepchildren, Judy Bernaur, Janette King (David), Kevin Boone (Doretta) and Kristi Boone; his grandchildren, John, Erin, Katie, Ruth, Evan, Annemarie and Caroline; and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Tim, Tara, Melanie, Heather, Amanda and Adam. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and 7 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westport Road Baptist Church (9705 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40241). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
