He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Cunningham Sr. and Verna Mae Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Franziska Cunningham (Fanny); his children, George Cunningham (Sandy Cunningham) and Thomas Cunningham (Tonya Cunningham); his grandchildren, David Cunningham (Kara Cunningham), Jennifer Cooper (Lane Cooper) and Cameron Cunningham; his great grandchildren, Ayden Cunningham, Bryson Cunningham, Kinley Cunningham, Colton Cooper and Charlotte Cooper; and his pet Marshall.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
