Though Jon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Griffin. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Griffin (Lardner); his sisters, Stacy Johnson (Daniel), Maria Hassman (Steven) and Gayle Chesser (Timothy); and his siblings' children, Megan Johnson (Hannah), Elle Hassman, Paige Stanley (Matthew) and Griffin Johnson (Jill). He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial tribute in honor of Jon will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
