He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mark (Tonya) and Cheryl (Thomas); his grandchildren, JP (Katie), William (Kelsey), Brianna (Matthew) and Jordan; and his brothers, Frank (Pat) and Marty (Diane).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (2042 Buechel Bank Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). The inurnment was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
