She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thomas and Ann Thomas (BeDell); and her son Norbert Hanke. She is survived by: her children, Eric Hanke (Dawn), Valerie Meyer (Richard), Nick Bean (Melissa) and Kate McCauley (George); and her grandchildren, Lydia, Max, Olivia, Everett, Lucas, Jake, Jackson, Millie, Clara and Emmett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
