He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Gutermuth and Edward Gutermuth; and his wife Doris Jean Gutermuth. He is survived by: his children, Gary Gutermuth and Janet Wallace; his grandchildren, Ben Wallace (Stacy) and Brooke Wallace; his great grandchildren, Jordan Wallace, Peyton Wallace, Piper Wallace, Wyatt Wallace and Brandon Pickett; his great great grandchildren, Ghysen Pickett and Wrenley Wallace; and his brother Don Gutermuth (Ann).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all contributions be made to the Southwest Center for Developmental Disabilities, in Larry's honor.
