He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hardin and Mildred Knight; his stepfather Bill Knight; and his brother Boyd C. Hardin, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Laura Wessel; his grandchildren, Madison Karpinsky (Drake) and Corey Wise; his siblings, Joallen Hardin (Linda) and Debbie Adams; his siblings' children, Patricia Numann and Boyd C. Hardin, Jr.; his great-niece Jenna Numann; his great-nephew Alexander Numann; and his pet Bama.
