He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orville Rodgers and Ann Rebecca Whitton Rodgers; his stepmother Bess Walsh; his siblings, John Rodgers, JoAnn Hudson and Arthur Rodgers; and his brother-in-law Gilmore Dutton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Dutton Rodgers; his daughters, Kathryn Rodgers Hilleary (Michael) and Joanna Rodgers Alexander (Eric); his grandchildren, Mary Abigail, Emma Zoie, Whitton Michael Hilleary, Lucy Kathryn, Griff Robert and Madelyn Mae Alexander; and his brothers, Flynn Rodgers (Patricia) and David Rodgers (Anita). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ratterman Brother's Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ratterman Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207).
