He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Clyde and Vasa Viola Mitchusson; and his siblings, Beth Mays, LaDon Spradlin, Phyllis Gardner and Jerry Trollinger.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnne Trollinger of Louisville, KY; his children, Jeffrey Trollinger (Deanne) of Winston Salem, NC and Susan Trollinger Merrill (Timothy) of Louisville, KY; his granddaughters, Abigail "Abbie" Deanne Trollinger, Emily Marlowe Merrill, Sara Kent Trollinger Donnalley (Matthew), Elizabeth DeAnne Merrill and Grace Margaret Merrill; and his brothers, Gayle Trollinger of Pampa, TX and Bobby Trollinger (Susan) of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel (1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church (920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, Middletown, KY 40243).
