She was predeceased by: her father Joe Gibson; her husband Charlie Remines; her son Joseph Troy Remines; and her mother Lula Buckner Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Fred Remines (Denise), Lisa Duke (Mark), Brent Remines (Pam) and Kendall Remines (Renee); her daughter-in-law Michelle Remines; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Heidi, Erika, Krissy, Adam, Jake, Hayley, Katie, Heather, Joseph and Patrick. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; many nieces/nephews; and a host of extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
