She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marini and Lena Marini (DeCrescenzo); her husband Jeremiah McCarthy; her siblings, Rose, Dorothy, Emily and John; and her niece Linda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Sant (Paul) and Allison McCarthy (Michael); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Susan), Maggie (Jason) and Amanda; her great grandchild Dylan; and her friend Honey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (11501 Maple Way, Louisville, KY 40229).
