She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny VanVactor and Myrtle VanVactor (Harris); and her siblings, Helen York, Pat Casey, Carolyn Quire, John Wayne VanVactor and Bill VanVactor.
She is survived by: her husband James "Pete" Richardson; her daughters, Stephanie Oliver (Denny) and Amanda Barnett (Robby); her grandchildren, Alexis Miller (Brett), Austin Oliver, Lucas Oliver, Jacob Barnett (Sandy) and Dakota Barnett; her great grandchild Judson Barnett; and her siblings, Larry VanVactor (Eva), Mary Porter, David VanVactor, Darlene Brooks (Tony), Brenda VanVactor, Tammy Moore (James) and Jackie Hartley (Alan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
