It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Thomas Carothers (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Robert Jr. and Kathleen Mulhall Carothers; and his stepmother Julia Berger Carothers. He is survived by: his significant other Allison Butler Carothers; his children, Camden and Campbell; his siblings, F. Robert Carothers III (Becky) and Kate Meehan (Gerry); his parents-in-law, Fred and Linda Butler; his sister-in-law Kelly Berry (Nick); his stepbrothers, Andy Berger and Aaron Berger (Racheal); and his siblings' children, Bennett, Ryan, Stella and Vivienne.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woods - Southeast Christian Church (1401 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
