She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Lietz and Anne Lietz; her husband John R. "Ron" Avdevich; her brother Ed Lietz; her nephew Eddie Lietz; and her siblings-in-law, Don and Cathy Avdevich.
She is survived by: her sons, John T. "Jay" Avdevich (Shawn) and Joseph E. "Joe" Avdevich (Erin); her grandchildren, Bricklen and Brittany; and her nieces, Amy Avdevich-Akin (Brian) and Nicole Wells. She is also survived by great-nieces and nephew; and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
