It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lee Ashley of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ashley and Beryl "Joyce" Ashley (Rigby); and his siblings, Wanda Walter (Ronald) and Donald Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ashley; his daughters, Emily Ashley and Sara Ashley; his stepchildren, John Hightower, Michael Hightower (Melissa) and Stephanie Ballard (Matt); his brothers, Wayne Ashley (Anna) and Steve Ashley (Tiffany); and his sister-in-law Vicki Ashley. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to Sunset Lodge #915 at 221 Steedly Drive.
