He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sutherland and Barbara Sutherland; and his brother William "Marc" Sutherland. He is survived by: his son Michael H. Sutherland Jr. (Stephanie); his brother Robert Sutherland (Kimberly); his grandson Carson Sutherland; and his sibling's children, Will, Traci, Kelly and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ratterman Chapel (2114 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40212).
