He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Louise Edelen and Thomas F. Edelen; his wife Denise Marie Ryan; his children, Alex (Brittany), Scott (Misti), Eric (Elizabeth) and Meredith Middleton (Trevor); his grandchildren, Josie, James, Whitley and Lucas; and his siblings, Glenn (Leah) and Ann. He was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (3345 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the St. Michael's Cemetery (1300 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
