We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Mildred L. (Southeast) Elery (Louisville, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mildred may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Elery; her daughter Bonita Elery; and her sister Geraldine Tubbs Grant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Ignatius Catholic Church (1816 Rangeland Rd, Louisville, KY 40219). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
