Nathaniel Peters Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nathaniel Peters of Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nathaniel Peters to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Peters and Lula Peters; his daughter-in-law Cecelia Peters (Craig); and his siblings, John D. Peters, Del Cloyd, Mary Shannon, Ginny King, David Peters, Wadia Peters, Sam Peters and Mike Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Nathaniel Peters, II (Bedra), Craig Peters, Ray Peters (Laura), Aaron Peters (Deborah) and Wayne Peters (Kathleen); and his siblings, Vickie Thoman and Ed Peters (Donna). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
