She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Riggs and Marie Cobble Riggs; her husband Granvil C. Barnes; her sons, Johnny C. and William D. Barnes; her grandchildren, Kimberly Sillings, Matthew Stuart and Daron Wiseman; and her siblings, Junior, James, Clarence, Marvin, Ervin Riggs, Doris Ann Mayfield and Norma Jean Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Barnes (Pam), Mark Barnes (Becky), Sharon Barnes (Merrill), Shirley Wiseman (Carl), Mary Stuart (Tim), Ruth Case, Naomi Sillings (Ben) and Sarah Stuart (Donald); and her brother Larry Riggs.
