She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Helton and Natalie McCrocklin Helton; her husband Ralph Gilbert Whitehouse; and her siblings, Nancy Jewell and Roger Helton.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bonifer (Paul) of Louisville, Tom Gilbert Whitehouse of Fern Creek and Tim Whitehouse (Cheryl) of Jeffersontown; her granddaughter Jennifer Proffitt (Fielding) of Louisville; her great grandchild Chase Proffitt; and her siblings, Sue Redmon (Mike) of Briar Ridge, Dolly Cahoe of Louisville and George Helton (Jane) of Fern Creek.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home (101 Reasor Ave, Taylorsville, KY 40071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
