He is survived by: his children, Madison Smith (Shawn), Philip Passafiume (Tiffany Boone) and Dylan Merz (Jecca); his siblings, Regina Dicken (Jim), Laura Koch and Kirk Passafiume; his grandchildren, Selena Lily Smith, Charlotte Rose Mary Smith, Shawn Eric Smith, II, Cameron Toohey, Karmyn Toohey, River Merz and Veda Merz; his nieces and nephews, Andy Dicken, Katie Pearson (Alex), Becky Koch and Kelly Cooper (Logan); his great-niece Willa Pearson; and his great-nephew Ellis Pearson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home (2723 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40217). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
