She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Arthur Mitchell; her parents, Otis Theodore Barker and Ruby Barker (Clay); and her siblings, George Barker, Robert Barker, Betta Brandon and Janie McGuire.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Hall (Jeff) of Crestwood, Kentucky and Ursula Tegethoff (Joe) of Crestwood, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Josie Tegethoff, Jordan Tegethoff and Nolan Hall. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson Funeral Home (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207). A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
