She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin DeWitt and Nina Lawrence; her husband Boss Maynard, Jr.; her daughter Tina Maynard; her great grandchild Ally Camacho; and her siblings, Jed DeWitt, Ula DeWitt, Mavis Melvin, Joey DeWitt, Otis DeWitt and Richard DeWitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sarina Armstrong, Nena Maynard, Boss Maynard III, Hart Maynard (Stephen) and John Maynard (Amanda); her grandchildren, Shawn Armstrong Jr., Justin Armstrong, Tessa Hardin, Lindsey Hardin, Kierston Scott, Evie Scott, Madison Maynard, Cierra Maynard, Jada Maynard, Tray Hardin, JJ Maynard, Lil'Boss Maynard, Hailey Jeffries, Isiah Maynard and Malique Maynard; her great grandchildren, Roman Camacho and Kaden Jecker; her brother Byron DeWitt; and her aunt Nellie DeWitt. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel (1832 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Bethany Cemetery (10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272).
