The passing of Richard F. Bogusz (Louisville, Kentucky) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bogusz and Emily Bogusz; his wife Sherry Bogusz; his siblings, Thomas Downs and Rita Kurczynski; and his son-in-law Thomas Downs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Downs and Denise Friedersdorf; his grandchildren, Anthony Friedersdorf (Caity), Wyatt Friedersdorf, Jaret Friedersdorf (Ricky Modglin), Abby Fackler (Calvin) and Whitney Simpson (Bobbey); and his great grandchildren, Joplin Roy, Carson, Zakk, Willow of Moses, CC, Jared and Liam. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name may be made to St. Jude.
