He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova Lewis Barnes and Dorothy Fern Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Barnes; his daughters, Shannon Beach (Bryan), Jessica Carter (Bryan), Danielle Lynam (Franklin) and Michelle Logsdon (Brian); his grandchildren, Audrey, Savanna, Abigale, Aaron, William, Caleb, Zachary, Connor, Alisen, Joshua, Caitlin, Cody and Colton; and his siblings, Tony Barnes, Brenda Sparkman, Glenda Payton, Linda Greenwell and Roger Barnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and an extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
