We announce the death of Robert Thomas Cobb (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Penelope Cobb; and his siblings, Larry, Danny and Dana. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Diane, Todd (Debbie), Gregg (Betty Jean) and Lori (Steve); his grandchildren, Forrest, Lauren (Logan), Kristen (Evan), Skylar, Madison, Justin (Sydney), Andrew and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Israel, Luke and Parker; and his siblings, Shirley Clements, Donna Cobb, Betty Arnett, Mary Pat Cole and Jo Ann Kinney. He is also survived by the extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mockingbird Gardens Clubhouse (299 Mockingbird Gardens Dr, Louisville, KY 40207). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mockingbird Garden's Clubhouse (299 Mockingbird Gardens Dr, Louisville, KY 40207).
In lieu of flowers the grandchildren have created an education endowment at UK in honor of their grandfather.
