He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruner Darst and Patricia Ann Woodrum; and his siblings, Steven Darst, Jill McDuffie and Gina Kelley.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Lita Leonard; his siblings, Paul Darst (Dorothy), Tony Darst and Hope Burris (Ryan); his brother-in-law Louie McDuffie; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Busch, Tabitha Darst, Michael Kelley, Little Tony Darst, Austin Darst, Jacob Darst, Payton Harlow and Blake Harlow; his cousin Mike Wilbert; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel (1832 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
