He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Bauer, Sr. and Mary Columba Bauer (Lynch); and his wife Nancy Ann Bauer (Worland). He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Katrina) and Lauren Partin (Josh); his grandchildren, William and Aurora; and his siblings, Chuck Bauer (Denise), Mary Alice Purple (Wakely), Larry Bauer (Jackie), Barbara Diebold (Ron), Jack Bauer, Steve Bauer (Darlene), Judy Ketterer (Jim) and Ken Bauer (Debi). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martha Catholic Church (2825 Klondike Ln, Louisville, KY 40218).
