As Robert Wayne departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert Wayne. Though Robert Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Hatfield and Marie Rachel Hatfield (Maddox); and his sister Ola Jane Pierce (Hatfield). He is survived by: his wife Iris Hatfield (Vittitow); his daughter Denette Holmes (Kristoper Lindebrekke); his niece Suzanne Pierce Terry (Steve); and his nephew Jason Pierce. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and adopted family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wayne Hatfield's Funeral Service (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
