She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sunderhaus and Mary Book Sunderhaus; her husband Ovle Richard; and her son Richard Lee. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Mary Craig), Kathy (Carol), John (Susan) and Laura (John Turcich); her daughter-in-law Betty Czerwonka; her grandchildren, Emily, Ellen, Kate, Anne, Daniel, Joseph, Amy, Meg, Zachary, Geoff and David; her great grandchildren, Jack, Sophia, Jacob, Emma, Conrad and Clare; and her great great grandchildren, Arywin and Skylar.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 S 5th St, Louisville, KY 40202). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
