It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Ackerman of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald E. Ackerman and Margie Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ackerman; his children, Jessica Ackerman (David) and Thomas Ackerman (Ieash); his brothers, Donnie Ackerman and Robert Ackerman (Vicki); his grandchildren, Jordan, Cali (Tre'veon), Cayden, Kamryn, Emarie, Kash and Yani; his great grandchildren, Lyric and Brennan; and his close friends, Dennis and Laura Wilson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
