He was predeceased by: his former wife Konnie Kupper; his wife Audry Kupper; his parents, Joseph Thomas and Dorothy Thomas; and his son-in-law William Oploh.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kupper (Sherri), Kimberly Oploh and Lisa Cann (Mark); his stepchildren, Mike Brewer (Cindy), Robbie Brewer (Carolyn), Ann Ewing (Randy) and Janet DeMasters (Deon); and his sisters, Elizabeth A. Fleitz and Mary M. Finch. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (2141 Lancashire Ave, Louisville, KY 40205).
