She was predeceased by: her son Fredrick Johnson, Jr.; and her granddaughter Jamela Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Meredith Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Nathanel Johnson (Tammi) and Kelly Johnson; and her siblings, Braynard Purnell, Jr., Scott Purnell, Malcom Purnell and Zaire Purnell. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
