It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Frances Browning of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Raywick, Kentucky, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Robert "Bob" Browning; her children, Jeffery Lee "Jeff" and Bonita Ruth Browning; her parents, James Micajah and Mary Effie Mattingly Malone; and her siblings, Dorothy Ann Badgett, Mary Pauline Buckman, Clement, Eddie, Robert L., Harry and Harold Malone.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Browning (Becky), Donna Thomas (Steve), David Browning (Patti), Geri Lynn Lancaster (Steve), Missy Martin (Dude) and Dale Browning (Jennifer). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (3938 Poplar Level Rd, Louisville, KY 40213).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the Altar Sodality c/o Holy Family Catholic Church.
